You will track raw material rates, standards and trends in the rubber industry, run industry, product and spend studies, analyse design and cost drivers, and recommend sourcing strategies. The role covers rubber part costing from drawings, negotiation, alternate sourcing, localisation and value engineering (VAVE); detailed supplier capacity and gap analysis with action plans; onsite supplier assessments and monitoring; statutory audit compliance; and timely quarterly or half-yearly raw material price settlements. Requirements: a B.Tech in chemical engineering or an equivalent degree; the posting lists 3-6 years of experience.
