Valeo, the automotive technology supplier, is hiring a CAE engineer at its Chennai technical centre (mechanical group). You will build FEA models of plastic components using 2D shell meshing, run simulations, debug Abaqus convergence problems, post-process and interpret results, validate mechanical designs and suggest design improvements, and compare simulation results with physical tests. You will also support methodology development and simulation benchmarking. Requirements: around 2-3 years of solid experience meshing plastic parts in ANSA or HyperMesh and running FEA in Abaqus or OptiStruct. Full-time permanent role.
