Valeo is hiring Mechanical Engineers (two openings) in Chennai for finite element simulation work. You will build and analyse FE models of complex system components, run static non-linear and dynamic linear simulations in ANSYS Workbench, carry out pre-processing and basic CAD work in CATIA, and perform FEA calculations to requirements. You should be confident in mechanics, strength of materials, design and vibrations, follow best practices and standards, and work with Valeo teams worldwide and with customers. Using AI to write scripts and agents is an optional plus. Requirements: a B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, skills in CATIA and good written and spoken communication; the posting lists 0-1 year of experience.
