Applied Materials is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer in Bengaluru. You will develop and maintain the methods, operation sequences and processes used to build parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies, and work with other engineering teams to release product improvements and new products. Using basic engineering and design-for-excellence (DFx) principles, you will look for ways to cut manufacturing and product costs and improve quality, set time standards, recommend tooling and process needs, write and use test procedures, and evaluate work methods. You will also find root causes and corrective actions for problems in assembly or system testing, carry out process FMEA and prepare reports. Requirements: a bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of related experience.
