DP World is hiring a Machine Learning Scientist for its Bengaluru office to build ML systems that support operational decisions such as planning, sequencing, routing, allocation and resource utilisation. You will prototype quickly with agentic coding assistants while keeping solid engineering habits, and develop models across optimisation and solvers (MILP, CP-SAT, heuristics), deep reinforcement learning and decision intelligence (bandits, MCTS-style planning, offline RL) and predictive forecasting. The work includes designing evaluation harnesses with offline simulation, ablations and scenario analysis, defining KPIs, and partnering with ML engineers on productionisation, monitoring and reproducibility. Requirements: 0-5 years of applied ML, data science or research experience (internships, thesis work and strong project portfolios count), strong Python with PyTorch or TensorFlow, and good grounding in algorithms, probability, statistics and experiment design. Prior deep RL or simulation work is a strong plus.
