Amazon is hiring a Software Dev Engineer I on a 12-month fixed-term contract for the Amazon Pay team in Bengaluru. Amazon Pay lets shoppers use the payment details saved in their Amazon accounts on other websites, and the team builds and supports software across the full stack, from user-facing interfaces to backend services. In this role you will work with software and business teams to improve buyer and merchant experiences, with a strong focus on building tools and automation that reduce operational work and keep services stable and scalable as the business grows globally. Requirements: at least 1 year of non-internship professional software development experience and programming experience in at least one language. A bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent field is preferred. Note that this is a contract role for 12 months.
