Standard Chartered is hiring Operations Apprentices for its Global Business Services centre in Chennai under a 12 or 24 month apprenticeship programme with hybrid working. Apprentices support the teams that run the bank's day-to-day operations: processing transactions accurately and on time, monitoring operational performance and service standards, helping resolve client queries, tracking metrics and maintaining data for reporting, and learning how operational risk, controls and regulatory requirements work. You will also contribute to continuous improvement work and get exposure to senior leaders. Eligibility: graduates of 2024, 2025 or 2026 with a three-year bachelor's degree such as B.Com, BBA, BBM or BMS, legal right to work in India, comfort with data and Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and strong attention to detail. No prior banking experience is needed.
