NTT DATA is hiring entry-level Networking Managed Services Engineers (L1) in Bengaluru.
What you will do:
- Monitor client network infrastructure and catch errors early
- Investigate and resolve first-line incidents and requests by following approved procedures
- Provide support through phone, ITSM tickets and chat
- Carry out patching and configuration changes and ensure smooth shift handovers
- Suggest automation and fixes for common incidents, and support disaster recovery tests
Requirements: a basic understanding of Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Juniper, Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, Cisco Nexus switches, ASR/ISR routers, Cisco ISE/ACS and Meraki, plus routing protocols like BGP, OSPF and EIGRP. You should handle tickets with discipline, follow SOPs and know ITSM tools and processes. This is a shift-based role.
