JLL is hiring a Fire & Safety Officer to manage fire safety at a client site in Kolkata.
What you will do:
- Oversee fire safety at the site and follow the command structure during emergencies
- Set up equipment at fire scenes, lead the emergency response team and carry out rescue, firefighting and salvage work
- Plan and run evacuation drills, lift rescue drills and fire safety training for staff and occupants
- Secure affected areas after an incident, check equipment and write incident reports
- Take part in pre-fire planning and keep plans up to date
- Coordinate with government authorities to renew fire NOCs and keep checklists and incident records
Requirements: a diploma or degree in Fire Engineering or Fire Safety with 3-5 years of experience, and good knowledge of fire suppression methods.
