Morningstar is hiring a Software Engineer in New Delhi to build efficient data solutions with modern cloud and open-source technologies. You will turn business requirements into technical solutions with cross-functional teams, look after data quality, performance and scalability, contribute to code reviews and agile delivery, and use AI-assisted development tools to work faster.
Requirements: a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, at least 2 years of professional experience in data or software engineering, strong Python and SQL, experience building ETL/ELT pipelines on relational databases, and exposure to tools such as Apache Spark, Apache Iceberg, PostgreSQL, DuckDB, Airflow or Kafka.
Morningstar follows a hybrid model, with four days a week in the office in most locations.
