Johnson Controls is hiring a Data Platform Engineer in Pune to keep its analytics data platform reliable, secure and easy to use. You will put in place structures, access patterns and controls for governed data use, work with data consumers to remove friction, build and maintain pipelines and transformations for analytics, set up secure access for people, applications and AI tools, monitor platform health and performance, support the Posit (RStudio) platform used by data scientists, and document platform processes.
Requirements: a Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or similar; 3-6 years in data engineering or data platform roles; hands-on Snowflake and cloud data platform experience; strong SQL; and experience with pipelines, transformations or analytics data models.
