Ingersoll Rand is hiring an Engineer at its Engineering & Technology Center in Bengaluru. New hires first go through basic training and pilot projects for up to 6 months. After that you will work on engineering and design of industrial equipment such as air compressors, power tools and fluid pumps: creating and releasing 3D parts, assemblies and 2D drawings in PLM, delivering component, assembly or system-level design tasks, running design calculations, using methods like DFMEA and root cause analysis, and preparing material for design and gate reviews.
Requirements: a graduate or postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, 1-3 years of experience with Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor or a similar CAD tool, strong mechanical fundamentals and drawing skills, good communication and time management, and MS Office. Basic coding is optional.
