Hitachi Energy is hiring an Associate Project Engineer for electromechanical design in its HVDC business in Chennai. You will work on primary layout design for UHV/EHV electrical substation projects using 3D tools, take ownership of your design tasks through to completion, and interact with customers, contractors and other staff on technical issues within your scope.
Requirements: a Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, 2 to 5 years of experience in primary layout design of UHV/EHV substation projects, knowledge of Autodesk Revit/ACC and NX/Teamcenter or similar 3D and PLM tools, substation engineering knowledge, and good written and spoken communication. The role is hybrid.
