ExxonMobil is hiring a Reservoir Quality Geoscientist in Bengaluru through its career fair on 21-22 November. You will support the global reservoir quality community and business units by analysing sediment properties, facies, textures and structures to reconstruct depositional environments, doing thin-section descriptions, petrography and point counting to identify mineralogy, pore systems and diagenesis, evaluating porosity and permeability controls and linking them to reservoir and production data, and running 1D basin modelling studies to predict reservoir quality.
Requirements: a Master's (or higher) in Geology, Earth Sciences, Petroleum Geoscience or a related field with a minimum GPA of 6.5, and at least 3 years of industry experience in reservoir quality, sedimentology, petrography or subsurface characterisation for upstream oil and gas.
