EXL is hiring a Coding Auditor in Chennai for US medical coding. You will audit coded charts for quality, meet quality and production targets, follow project protocols, escalate issues and spot trends, update productivity and clarification logs daily, check with your manager or team lead on clarifications, and help keep the team compliant with HIPAA and OIG rules.
Requirements: a life science or paramedical degree with CPC or CPMA certification, 3+ years of multi-specialty surgery coding experience including IVR and general surgery (auditing and denial management experience is optional), good computer skills and strong written and spoken communication. Full-time, 40 hours a week, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM IST with weekends off; the posting is tagged hybrid.
