Valeo is hiring a Mechanical Engineer in Chennai to validate the mechanical behaviour of automotive products through finite element simulation. You will build FEM models, set up cases in Ansys Workbench and write reports, ensuring mesh quality against standard checklists. Simulation work covers non-linear, vibration, fatigue, thermo-mechanical and multi-physics analysis using Valeo's standard methods. You should be able to work independently with meshing and simulation tools. Candidates need 2 to 3 years of experience in the automotive or mechanical industry, an understanding of the mechanical behaviour of plastic materials, and good knowledge of CAD and analysis/meshing tools.
