HARMAN Automotive is looking for an Advanced Engineer with C++ middleware expertise at its Bengaluru office. The role covers design, development and testing of in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) software components, with a focus on embedded protocols and real-time performance.
You will implement platform middleware and infrastructure modules, independently own core modules, analyse customer requirements, contribute to design and architecture reviews, and help new team members get up to speed technically.
Requirements: B.Tech/BE with 3+ years in embedded software and 3+ years in automotive/IVI systems; strong C++ (C++11) and design patterns; knowledge of the Android framework, HAL and AOSP architecture; good debugging skills with tools like GDB and JTAG; and the ability to read hardware block diagrams. Java exposure is a plus.
