EXL is hiring a Data Scientist to work as a Google Conversational AI developer in a hybrid role based in Uttar Pradesh. You will build generative, goal-oriented voice and chat agents on Dialogflow CX and CX Agent Studio.
The work includes writing system instructions and managing conversation context for LLM-based agents, building API tools that agents can call, deploying webhooks and backend APIs on Google Cloud Functions or Cloud Run, parsing API responses and Protocol Buffers, and running automated evaluations and simulation tests to measure and improve agent performance.
Requirements: 2–4 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering; advanced Python (object-oriented code, type hints, async); comfort with virtual environments, package managers and the command line; and working knowledge of Google Cloud and the gcloud CLI.
