MetLife's Global Technology team in Hyderabad is hiring a Software Engineer I to help with its digital and AI transformation. You will design, build and maintain cloud-native applications across the front end, back end, APIs and databases, apply good practices for cloud and AI/data work, fix production issues quickly, and work with teams around the world in an Agile setup that uses CI/CD and DevOps.
What they look for: a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent and hands-on experience building application software, cloud-native apps and APIs. The tech stack includes Java with Spring Boot, ReactJS, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Azure Kubernetes and Azure DevOps CI/CD, with Swift and React Native for mobile. Good English is required and Japanese is a bonus. Strong problem solving, communication and teamwork matter in this fast-moving environment.
This is a full-time, hybrid role in Hyderabad.
