Standard Chartered is running a 12-month apprenticeship in its Wealth & Retail Banking business in Mumbai. Apprentices get real responsibility from the first day, working on tasks that support clients and business priorities in a unit that helps individuals and businesses grow, manage and protect their wealth.
During the year you will learn how the bank serves and builds relationships with clients, build analytical and problem-solving skills using data and business information, see how digital tools are changing banking products and services, work with colleagues across teams and markets, and get exposure to senior leaders and learning sessions.
Students from all degree backgrounds can apply. The bank looks for strong academic results and extracurricular involvement, team players with agility and resilience, analytical thinkers with an eye for detail, and good project-management and communication skills; for technical roles a background in finance, banking or related subjects helps. The role is hybrid, and applications close on 30 October 2026.
