Northern Trust is hiring a Quantitative Engineer (Associate) in Bengaluru to build investment technology for its Tax-Advantaged Equity team. You will develop web applications and dashboards with .NET, C# and cloud-native tools, build APIs and services for portfolio construction, tax-loss harvesting, monitoring and reporting, and design Azure-based data pipelines for portfolio, holdings, transaction, benchmark and market data. You will also write Python analytics and automation tools and work with quantitative researchers and portfolio managers to put new investment models and optimisation techniques into production. Requirements: 1–4 years of experience in software engineering, quantitative engineering or a related field, with C#/.NET, Python, SQL and Azure skills and an interest in finance.
