Nokia is hiring a Software QA Engineer (hybrid, India) to test next-generation optical networking products. You will design test strategies and automation frameworks for optical DWDM equipment and protocols, including OTN, Ethernet and DWDM layers and northbound interfaces such as YANG, NETCONF, RESTCONF and gRPC, plus system security. Work includes writing test plans for Layer 0 and Layer 1 across long-haul, DCI and metro systems, protocol-based and FCAPS testing, manual and automated testing, and driving continuous integration for faster releases. Requirements: a degree in ECE, CS or EEE with strong academics and 3+ years of experience testing embedded optical network elements, with Python or similar automation skills.
