Chevron's Engineering and Innovation Excellence Center (ENGINE) in Bengaluru is hiring a reservoir simulation engineer. Candidates need a master's in petroleum engineering or a related field and 3-7 years of experience. You will work with US-based R&D teams to test, pilot, deploy and support reservoir simulation and optimization technologies and workflows, and run, maintain and troubleshoot these digital tools for users. You will carry out simulation studies for oil and gas assets, build and update models with geoscientists, history-match production and pressure data and produce forecasts. The role also touches dashboards, visualisation and machine-learning tools, CI/CD and cloud deployment of applications.
