GE Vernova is hiring a mechanical balance-of-plant engineer in Vadodara with 3-6 years of mechanical or process engineering experience. You will prepare basic and detailed engineering documents for hydro power plants, including design memos, flow diagrams, sizing calculations and supplier specifications for water, oil, air and utility systems. Systems covered include EOT cranes and handling equipment, cooling water, drainage and dewatering, HVAC, fire protection and detection, oil filtration, compressed air, elevators and workshop equipment. You will evaluate vendor offers, hold technical meetings, get documents and drawings approved by clients, and manage interfaces with internal teams.
