Unbox Robotics, a warehouse robotics company, is hiring a functional safety and product compliance engineer in Pune with 3-6 years of product, machinery or functional safety experience. You will define intended use, system boundaries, operating zones and foreseeable misuse, decide whether a supplied scope counts as a complete machine, partly completed machine or component in each market, and maintain a matrix of applicable laws, standards, assessments and evidence for current and planned markets. You will separate mandatory obligations from chosen standards and customer requirements, facilitate hazard analysis and risk assessment (HARA), and derive safety requirements for the product.
