Photon is hiring a data engineer for its offshore delivery team in India. You will design, build, test and maintain ETL pipelines that process structured and unstructured data using Azure services such as Azure Functions, Data Factory, Databricks and streaming tools. The work includes gathering data requirements with architects and business teams, tuning pipelines for performance and reliability, maintaining data models, schemas and documentation, monitoring production data flows, and applying data quality rules, validation checks and governance, security and privacy standards across cloud and on-premise stores. Candidates should have 3 to 7 years of ETL and data engineering experience, hands-on Azure Functions and Data Factory, strong SQL with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle or PostgreSQL, scripting in Python, Shell or Scala, data warehousing knowledge, and Git/Jenkins CI/CD experience.
