Texas Instruments in Bengaluru is hiring a test engineer for complex mixed-signal and digital chips such as microcontrollers and microprocessors. You will study design and DFT specifications, create test plans, develop characterisation and production test programs, and design ATE interface boards. The work covers debugging and characterising silicon on testers, correlating results with bench data, supporting failure analysis, analysing yield fallout statistically, reducing test time, qualifying silicon and releasing products to volume production. Requirements: a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, 3 to 8 years of relevant experience (ideally at SoC level), hands-on ATE work on Teradyne J750 or similar testers such as UFlex or V93K, strong knowledge of digital, scan, memory and analog test methods, and data analysis using Spotfire or STDF-based tools.
