EXL is hiring an AI Engineer in Gurugram (hybrid) to build AI-first products quickly. You will design and implement agentic workflows, build and tune RAG pipelines, and take ideas from prototype through testing to production, working across APIs, backend systems, integrations and deployment. The team values ownership and fast iteration. Requirements: 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, AI or ML; strong coding skills, preferably in Python; experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI or open-source models) and frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI or AutoGen; and a record of building real applications rather than only notebooks. Applications must include a GitHub profile, live projects or demos, or a portfolio of AI apps you have built; applications without proof of work will not be considered.
