Hitachi Energy is hiring an R&D Engineer for its Global Product Support team at Maneja (Vadodara), Gujarat. You will be a technical point of contact for high voltage switchgear products, answering product questions from global factories, functions and customers and guiding technical decisions. The role covers lifecycle management of active products: keeping product master data accurate, including bills of materials, engineering drawings, technical instructions, product structures, variants and decision tables, and handling engineering change and configuration management. You will also support product and technology transfers, run manufacturing readiness assessments and factory audits, and work with R&D, operations, quality, supply chain and product management on technical issues, standardisation and complexity reduction.
