Applied Materials is hiring a New Product Manufacturing Engineer (NPME) in Bengaluru to bring new semiconductor equipment assemblies into production. Working under the guidance of senior NPMEs and management, you will develop, implement and release bills of materials and product structures for medium-complexity assemblies, and create and validate operation method sheets. You will take part in 3D virtual analysis (master layout and digital mock-up) and design reviews, giving design-for-assembly, test and efficiency feedback to improve cost, quality and cycle time. The role also covers change control (ECOs, NSRs, CCB, supplier problem sheets and specification waivers), documenting product issues and helping with root cause analysis, leading the managed build process for assemblies and modules, and training Applied staff, contract manufacturers and suppliers.
