Honeywell is hiring an Application Engineer I for its building controls team, listed as a remote role attached to its Pune location. You will study HVAC system functions such as central plants, air handling units and unitary controls, review functional specifications and sequences of operation, check functionality against specifications, and analyse site operating data to find faults in control loops and sensors. The job includes spotting energy-saving opportunities in buildings, troubleshooting HVAC control loops, presenting data in charts, preparing monthly reports, joining calls with global customers, and giving technical support to field technicians and project team members across multiple projects while meeting delivery dates. Candidates need about 2 to 5 years of experience with DDC programming, knowledge of BACnet, LonWorks and Modbus, awareness of building standards such as LEED and Green Mark, and MS Office. SkySpark analytics, Tableau and Niagara programming are a plus.
