Narayana Health is hiring nursing assistants for its hospital in Mumbai, mainly supporting operation theatre work. You will keep the unit clean and sanitary, receive and transfer patients safely, send post-operative samples for diagnostic tests, give patients comfort and emotional support, and help with patient positioning for different surgeries. In the theatre you will lay out instruments before each case and keep a count list, assist the surgeon and scrub nurse, work as a circulating nurse, help manage the recovery room, collect sutures and costly disposables and return unused items, and clean, disinfect and pack instruments for sterilisation before handing them over.
