Amazon Business is hiring an Applied Scientist II in Hyderabad for its External Integrations team, which builds AI agents and integrations for business buyers, procurement teams and partners. You will design new machine learning and LLM-based methods for agentic shopping, product search and matching, schema and data mapping across partner systems, and automated evaluation of agent quality. The models you build go straight into production systems used by Amazon Business customers worldwide, so you will balance accuracy, latency and cost, and may publish research where appropriate.
Basic qualifications include 3+ years of building machine learning models for business applications, along with strong knowledge of modern ML and LLM techniques and the ability to work backwards from customer needs.
