Deloitte's Quality Engineering team in Bengaluru is hiring a Consultant for ETL and data testing. You will build automated test frameworks for ETL/ELT pipelines, validate source-to-target reconciliation and transformation logic, and write automated checks for completeness, accuracy, timeliness and integrity (row counts, checksums, null and referential checks). You will also test incremental loads, CDC logic and data migrations, find root causes with data engineers, and add tests to CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements: 3 to 6 years of ETL testing experience, strong SQL, a good grasp of data warehousing, data lakes and UNIX, and automation skills in Python, PyTest, PySpark, Robot Framework or TestNG. Experience with platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery or Synapse and tools like Informatica is useful.
