Nokia is hiring a Software QA Engineer in India to test next-generation optical networking products. You will design test strategies and automation frameworks for optical DWDM equipment and protocols, including OTN, Ethernet, DWDM and northbound interfaces (YANG, NETCONF, RESTCONF, gRPC), as well as system security. You will write test plans for Layer 0 and Layer 1 features across long-haul, DCI and metro systems, run manual and automated protocol tests (FCAPS, NBI automation, security) and support continuous integration for faster releases.
Requirements: a degree in ECE, EEE or a related field with a strong academic record and 3+ years of experience in embedded optical or networking test. The role is full-time and hybrid.
