Nokia is hiring an Optical Hardware Engineer in India to work on coherent transceivers (DCO pluggables) and transponder line cards. You will support optical design, integrate optical modules and run optical design verification tests (oDVT). Typical tasks include evaluating optical components, reviewing schematics and layouts, running defined design tasks and lab tests, collecting data, writing test plans, procedures and reports, and logging design issues found in the lab. You will own your assigned design, integration and test tasks and suggest improvements to lab setups and procedures.
Requirements: at least 3 years of experience in optical integration or optical hardware testing, with a relevant engineering degree. The role is full-time and hybrid.
