JioStar is hiring a Software Development Engineer II (Android) in Bengaluru for its new Content Commerce team at JioHotstar. The team is building technology for shopping experiences across JioHotstar's content, bringing together content understanding, product catalogues, contextual recommendations, interactive placements and transaction journeys. You will build fast, resilient Android apps, improve app performance and stability, and ship core platform capabilities with a strong focus on user experience.
Requirements: a bachelor's or master's in computer science or a related field with 2 to 4 years of professional Android development experience, strong skills in Kotlin/Java, the Android SDK and Android Studio, and at least 1 year of solving low-level design problems. The role is full-time and on-site.
