NielsenIQ is hiring an Associate Research Scientist (AI/ML engineer) in Chennai to work on GenAI, vector search, embeddings and semantic similarity. You will design, build and deploy GenAI and ML solutions using NLP, vector search, forecasting and predictive analytics, and develop predictive monitoring and anomaly detection models that plug into cloud-native, Kubernetes-based systems. You will build end-to-end ML pipelines, run experiments and evaluations, and fine-tune models for accuracy and efficiency, working with cross-functional teams to improve how information is searched and retrieved.
Requirements: a bachelor's or master's in computer science, data science, machine learning or a related field, 2+ years of professional AI/ML experience focused on NLP and vector search, and strong Python skills.
