D. E. Shaw India is hiring an Industrial Trainee for its Financial Operations (Management Company Accounting) team in Hyderabad. You will work with senior stakeholders during new fund launches, help set up complex fund structures and transactions, analyse historical and projected fund performance, and do technical accounting analysis for complex financial instruments. Working with the COO and CFO offices, business heads, regulators and portfolio managers, you will help produce key performance metrics through reporting and analysis, including P&L analysis, expense allocation, budgeting and cash management.
Requirements: CA Inter/IPCC cleared in the first or second attempt and at least 1 year of articleship experience. Rigorous analysis, clear communication, ownership and comfort with time-bound deliverables are expected.
