UPS is hiring a Software Quality Engineer for its Information Services team in Chennai. In this role you will carry out QA processes with moderate guidance, help plan and run tests for applications of small to medium complexity, spot defects, weigh alternatives and recommend fixes so that project objectives are met. You will work closely with QA colleagues, application developers, software vendors, consultants, end users and test-environment support staff.
Key skills: a solid grounding in testing practices, test levels, test planning and defect management; hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as NUnit, Selenium with C# and Rest Assured; and experience working in Agile teams. Familiarity with JSON, REST APIs and API testing in Postman, security standards and validation tools, and CI/CD, cloud deployments and pipeline validation is an advantage.
This is a permanent full-time position, suited to early-career QA and test automation engineers (roughly 0-3 years of experience).
