ExxonMobil is hiring an AI Scientist with a strong statistics focus at its Bengaluru technology centre. You will apply rigorous statistical methods to large, complex datasets, design and run experiments such as DOE and hypothesis tests for product development, process optimisation and quality, and build, validate and maintain interpretable statistical models. You will partner with engineers and scientists to frame problems, build dashboards that show variability and uncertainty, and keep analyses reproducible with documentation and version control. Candidates need a PhD, or a master degree with at least 3 years of industry experience, in Statistics, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics or a related field; experience in chemical, manufacturing or process industries is a plus.
