Birlasoft is hiring an automation tester on a subcontract basis in Bengaluru for its automotive unit. You need at least 2 years of hands-on Playwright with TypeScript and Python, and the ability to design, build and maintain automation frameworks from scratch for UI, API and end-to-end testing. The role calls for Python scripting, fixture-based test design, reusable components and the Page Object Model, plus strong SQL and database testing (Oracle preferred). A notable part of the work is testing AI chatbots, conversational AI and GenAI applications, including validating AI responses, prompt testing and scenario coverage, as well as checking complex business rules, workflows and data integrity across systems.
