Emerson is hiring a Global Purchasing Executive in Pune (on-site). You will plan and issue purchase orders and work with suppliers on on-time direct shipments, share global forecasts and delivery performance with suppliers, and drive improvement actions for under-performing suppliers. The role involves improving supplier lead times and flexibility for demand surges and project orders, acting on slow-moving and excess inventory, choosing the most cost-effective shipping modes, coordinating global contracts and terms, and keeping purchasing data such as prices, lead times, order policies and drawing revisions accurate. You will also handle deviation requests and supplier corrective actions and set up new suppliers with global teams. About 3 years of experience is expected.
