Cisco is hiring an AI-native Software Engineer for its Industrial IoT engineering team in Bengaluru, which builds software for industrial switching, routing, wireless, security, observability and edge computing used in manufacturing, energy, transport and smart cities. You will build and evaluate industrial AI applications and agentic workflows using LLMs, small language models, machine learning, computer vision, RAG, MCP and tool calling; apply AI to network operations, troubleshooting, anomaly and threat detection; and fine-tune and deploy ML models and SLMs on edge devices while balancing quality, memory, compute and latency. You will use coding agents across the development cycle. A bachelor or master degree in Computer Science or related field and about 1 to 3 years of experience are expected.
