NTT DATA is hiring an entry-level Networking Managed Services Engineer (L1) in Bengaluru to keep client network infrastructure running. You will monitor client systems, catch errors early, investigate first-line incidents and their root causes, and handle requests through tickets, phone and chat following approved procedures. The job also covers maintenance tasks such as patching and configuration changes, shift handovers, escalations, knowledge-base updates, and occasional support for projects and disaster-recovery tests. It is a shift-based operations role.
What they look for: a basic understanding of VPN (Pulse Secure), firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper), Cisco Nexus/Meraki switches, ASR/ISR routers, Cisco ISE/ACS and routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF and EIGRP, plus strong discipline in handling tickets and following SOPs.
