Eaton's Center for Sustainability in Pune (Hadapsar) is hiring an Associate Engineer for product stewardship in its Aerospace business. You will support product regulatory compliance projects covering regulations such as REACH, AD-DSL, ELV, RoHS, Prop 65 and POPs across Eaton's aerospace products. You will study customer compliance requirements and apply them to projects, work with India and global teams (engineering, quality, plant manufacturing, supply chain, sales), follow up with suppliers on compliance data, track and report project progress, and keep up with new regulations.
Eligibility: a Bachelor's degree in Sustainability/Environmental Science, Chemical, Mechanical, Electronics or Electrical Engineering with 0 to 1 year of experience. You need strong engineering and science fundamentals (materials, weight, volume, density, units and measurement) and a basic understanding of product-stewardship rules such as REACH, RoHS, TSCA and PFAS. This is a hybrid role in Research & Development Engineering.
