Gartner's IT team is hiring a data engineer to build and run data pipelines on Microsoft Azure. You will design, build and tune ingestion and transformation pipelines from several sources using Azure Data Factory and Databricks notebooks, design data models and warehouse schemas for fast analytics, and manage metadata, data structures and workload orchestration. The role also involves turning business requirements into development plans and estimates, and working with architects, data science and business teams to identify and reduce delivery risks.
What they ask for: about 3+ years of professional IT experience with a strong data engineering base, including hands-on work with core Azure data services. Comfort with SQL, data modelling and pipeline design is important. Hybrid role based in Gurugram.
