Harmonic, a leader in virtualized broadband solutions, is hiring an Associate Software Development Engineer for its Broadband Devices team in Bengaluru. You will develop software features for embedded systems, work with hardware teams, and debug cross-layer issues reported by QA and customers, doing root cause analysis and putting long-term fixes in place. Requirements: a BE in Electronics and Communication or Computer Science with at least 85% or 8.5 CGPA, no current backlogs and no gap or repeat year in studies. You should be excellent at C and C++ programming and know Layer 2/3 networking protocols. Linux knowledge and scripting in Perl, Python or Bash are advantages, along with good communication skills and fluent English. This is a hybrid role with 3–4 days a week in the Bangalore office.
