Vodafone Intelligent Solutions (VOIS) is hiring a Voice & Data Core NOC Engineer in Bengaluru. You will monitor core network alarms and service-impacting incidents in a 24x7 Network Operations Centre, do first-level fault identification, alarm correlation and troubleshooting, manage incidents and tickets, coordinate with support teams, field technicians and suppliers to restore service, and help with inventory checks.
What they want:
- 2–5 years in telecom network operations, ideally in a NOC; a degree in Electronics & Telecommunications is preferred
- Understanding of GSM, UMTS, LTE and 5G core technologies
- Knowledge of voice, data core and charging platforms
- Familiarity with ITIL incident management and escalation
- Basic understanding of virtualisation and VNF/CNF architectures
This is a 24x7 operations role, so shift work should be expected.
