Hitachi Energy is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer at Maneja (Vadodara), Gujarat, to join an international design and engineering team for oil-filled distribution transformers up to 25 MVA, 36 kV class, serving several countries. You will design the active part, windings, tank and externals within factory limits, guidelines and checklists, and work with cross-functional teams to meet project specifications and industry standards while improving performance and sustainability.
What they want:
- 2–8 years of mechanical design experience in the oil-filled distribution transformer manufacturing industry
- Must know CAD and a 3D modelling tool; Creo is an advantage
- Understanding of transformer design, mechanical calculations, dielectrics and clearances
